another updates...

sementara nak menunggu rombongan cik kiah pi matraville....here i am at the uni lab trying to update my blog again in less than erk...3 hrs maybe??

went to the oshc to do some medical claim...don't you just hate it kalau tetiba time tu la ada new staff yg baru nak belajar guna the system and buat claim apa semua....lembab okeh!!! dah la explaination regarding my query ada conflict between the two staffs. ntah yer ntah idak amount yg derang bagi ni. lesson learnt: next time kalau dtg kena make sure brother singh tuh yg jaga. they should have put a permanent full time worker to manage the branch rather than using part time uni students...haiyarkk

anyway, my summer course application has been approved. i email the school admin officer last monday....until now no reply. at the same time i also email the lecturer and dgn mudahnyer i got the permission. print his email...and bring it to the school office. told amoi receptionist tuh yg robyn havent replied my email yet but i already got the permission from the lecturer. padahal amoi tuh yg suh aku email robyn. so she said she will put the email that i got from adam in robyn's pigeon hole....uhhuuhhuhu.....nahhhh.....i dont trust her...ask her whether i can straight away submit that email to the student service at the ground flr...she said no problem. in less than 1 hr..i nyer timetable for the summer course dah terpampang kat my student account...lalalalallalala. classes will be frm wednesday to friday straight 8 - 4 pm (which is impossible la straight kan...mesti ada lunch break punyer). final exam will be on the 11th of january and pehtu baru i cuti dgn sepenuh nyer. owh did i mention the summer term starts on the 26th of november...aahahahah....3 days after my last paper i dah bergegeh2 pi kelas. 8 - 4 pm class nampak mcm hectic...tp dulu masa a - level boleh survive 5 days of 8-4pm class.

i asked kuni my japanese friend abt the course coz he already took it this sem...he said...if you like computers and technology...it shouldnt be a problem...so ppl...do i like computers and stuffs??? hahahahah (w'pun i am bit musykil why is it that the subject is listed in one of my elective for specialisation...tech, innovation n mgt and hrm...ada kaitan?). anyway, this is the link if you guys wanna see my course summary. if everything semua ok sem 1/2008 will be another 4 course and my final sem only one course!! pehtu back to m'sia for good!!!

another not so short updates....

1. two down...one more to go. and the final one would be on the 23rd. sempat la i berHEDO minggu ni. yesterday sucks big time....as expected...open book...sure la susah....have to apply all the concepts in 4 different case study. and to make matter worse...i forgot to take my lunch. well..not really forgot but...keluar rumah dlm 1230 still kenyang lg...have to keluar early sbb my exam venue is at tempat lumba kuda. bila dah in the middle of the exam baru terasa lapar yg amat. i end up thinking more abt what to eat for dinner rather than what to write on the answer booklet. okay...i learn my lesson....next time any afternoon exam kena makan dulu kenyang2. arrived home near to six...terus order home delivery taste of thai....heaven!!

2. hr ni nak berHEDO kat matraville with mek ija ngan kak is. ada noritake sales (read:gorjes). don't want to expect that much becoz i never like the design. but then ada satu design ni mocha2 not bad...so kalau sale giler baban i might end up with one box. beli for the sake of beli...nak jugak rasa perasaan ada noritake ni. selama ni dok dgr org berhuhu haha jer psl bende ni. i still prefer corelle though. before coming here, i never berkecimpung dlm bidang pinggan mangkuk pyrex myrex ni....but since org dah kata murah and dok berhuhu haha abt this stuffs....yeahh why not....bila lagi nak buat collection. this is my 1st corelle set bought masa 2nd day of raya...hahah...2nd day raya okeh sempat bersopping...oh...did i mention i beli carpet masa 1st day of raya...hahahhaha....on the way nak pi beraya kat kensington terlepas plak pi alexandria....(ija: thats explain why we all sampai lambat umah kak dewi).....lalalalala

1. one down...two more to go. Alhamdullillah the 5-7-0-0 paper yg paling digeruni sbb the only closed-book this morning was great. thanks to michael who gave us topics to concentrate for the paper. i concentrate on three topics - leadership, performance related pay and workforce changes. and another topic sebagai langkah berjaga2 - emotional labour (cth: cebol...hahahaha). but then, i decided not to answer leadership becoz the question is to vague...ntah apa yg dia nak gua pun tak tau. so jawap emotional labour yg tak banyak theory...just understand the concept and goreng!! but then michael...no matter how baek u are bagi topic segala bagai....saya masih merasakan anda punya lecture sangat buang masa and syok sendrik. sekian!!

2. another two to go....both are open book. salu open book ni lagi susah...dup dap dup dap

3. since nobody is coming to visit us this summer....i have decided to take the summer course. 1 course..kelas 3 kali seminggu 8-4pm.. kalau ikut timetable summer semester abih end of february. tp kalau ikut the course notes final exam is in january.but then, this is too last minute so kelas tuh dah full...so skang i'm still waiting a reply email frm the school office whether they can consider another one person which is me to enrol to that class this summer. kalau tak mati kutu la i.

3. parents are coming next february!!! kena buat tour itenary ni....lalalallala

There are certain conditions abt this group study:

1. No unnecessary talk while discussing. We can do that after the discussion session but not during.
2. All have to contribute. No one is just going to sit there and take notes and not contribute. So don't come if you are expecting to just take down everything. Please contribute.
3. Please read the relevant Lecture notes and write down questions. To be fair, everyone gets to ask their questions of uncertainty...
4. Please do your own homework and just don't turn up blank on the whole thing. I'm pretty sure that u do know somethg but not all
   

mari memasak...

yesterday darling evil had my-mom-style daging n kentang masak kicap. the beauty of my masak kicap...masak merah or whateva masak is that....kalau masak hr ni.....and then esok lusa pun masak lagi...konfirm rasa tak sama. mesti ada beza punye....ahahha....konfirm tak leh bukak kedai makan. anyway, i have problem tanak nasik kat sini....asyiknyerrr lah terlebih air. beras kat sini mmg kurang pakai air ker? is it the beras or is it me??

and today....he gonna have meehoon goreng for his lunch. rajin kan bini u masak mihunn pepagi buta....yawn yawnnn!!! kiutkan darling evil nyer lunch box...hijau kuning (kedah) with an orange coloured fork.

cute isn't it? so far kat sini tak nampak lagi mr postman riding a bike. its either derang jalan kaki with their backpack or naik bicycle. but few weeks ago masa shopping kat halal butcher i saw this guy pushing this lookalike kids pram....ihihihih. cepat2 i amik gambar masa dia masuk kedai antar surat. patut i amik gak gambar mr postman tuh sbb dia agak hensom org nya...ahahha

his meals...

sometimes i packed rice for him. this is last week lunch: chicken jalfrezi with steam brocolli and ikan bilis masin. he got the chicken jalfrezi recipe from videojug...it was so easy...mcm chicken curry. owh...he cook this himself the nite before becoz i was so tired mired that particular day...hiihihi. ikan bilis masin was so yummylicious (tapi tak leh lawan ngan pekasam). it is a must everytime he had rice for his lunch. that lunch box is too smalll actually. i wanted to buy the one that have two compartments so that i can put the 'lauk' at one side. tp mr evil taknak, reason : too big. malu la tuuu.

hari ni dia nak makan sandwich for lunch. so i prepared him double spicy beef burger. got this from the halal butcher. ther burger was freaking thick so i had to slice it into two just to make sure everything is 'well-done'. besides the beef burger, sometimes it would be, chili/blackpepper tuna sandwich or chicken nugget with egg sandwich (his fav).

and this morning, he had this for his breakfast: roti bakar with st dalfour bluberry spread. pernah sekali i made him cucur bilis. now i need to godek2 the net nak carik resipi lain. usually he had cereals for breakfast tp skang ni stop kejap sbb tak leh minum susu sejuk. flu belum baik lg.

my sunday...

hari ni sgt tak produktif....nak study pun takdak energy. tghhari leh tertido lg. bangun pun darling evil dah siap masak his yummylicious lemon chicken pasta (tq dear!!). dah nak dekat pukul 4 tuh still rasa takdak energy...so apa lagi...JOM PI PANTAI!!!


ramai sungguh org kat pantai...siap ada sorang chinese ni 'diselamatkan' lg ngan surf rescue. he didnt drown or whatsoever but i think he surf at the wrong area...so team surf rescue angkut dia balik...ahahaha.

balik umah dah 4.30 still no mood to study...JOM BUAT MUFFIN PLAK!!! this is my 3rd attempt and thank god finally jadik menggerutu mcm yg i idamkan. selama ni ahkak salah teknik rupanyer....hahahah. so muffin masuk freezer instead of tong sampah....everyday darling evil leh bawak seketol gi work.

the bag.....

all this while my bags have always been either black or darkbrown...senang nak suits with everything (i think i got one lime green). but anyway, the other day masa jenjalan kat eastgarden...ternampak this one bag that caught my eye from that very moment. terus masuk kedai tuh...tgk rege...gulppp!! this bag takdak brand yg susah nak sebut or even nak eja (read: to whom it may concern). thank god hubby dearie you got me as your wifey coz seriously until now i havent got any terrible crush on those kind of branded bag....especially yg rege ribu raban tuh. not my type yet (read: future???).

but anyway, yesterday the plan to go to DFO terbengkalai....we woke up late so malas plus stomache meragam. so petang2 sket after i had my beautifoolll nap....we went out to eastgarden. and i got myself the bag....maukakakkaka. w'pun tetiba rasa beg tu mcm terbesar setelah diulang suara oleh hubby dearie....anyway...this is it....tak sangka me becoming floral2 gituk

amacam? ranggi tak? seswai kan dgn i yg muda remaja ni....ahahaha

lepas ni nak cari stripey2 plak kat DFO (kenyit mata kat hazel). by the way, kat sini mmg trend yer org pakai bag mcm ni...so i'm following the trend...bukan outdated (read: yani)

that bag...that beautiful bag...it doesnt have any brand name whatsoever but i fell in love at first sight with that bag. didn't buy it last time becoz allowance lom masuk daaa....but now....grrrr....hati meronta2. tp bila dikenang kalau darab 3...dah nak RM300 lebih sket2. haiyarkk!!! sapa suh darab 3...jgn la darab 3. but that bag....nak tunggu christmas sale ke? tp kalau ada org lain dah beli camne? the reason for having a second thought on buying it right now is becoz the handover of my salary payer (betoi ka ayat ni) to the central agency. kalau nasib tak baik mahu 3-4 bulan tak dpt gaji and have to rely 100% on allowance which is sgt was2 considering the summer holidays. its not that i'm goin to use my pay over here....but it provides some sort of a relief when you have a certain amt as a form of backup plan.

thats everybody showing off their duit raya. my father mcm dah makin kurus. yes...after that major operation he has become a very totally diff person. how i wish he would get back the weigh before the tumor attack.

the raya open hse yesterday was great....the ketupat pulut...sate....kuah kacang rendang...lots of kuih muih and keks etc etc. too bad i tak sempat rasa laksa....sempat pau bebudak ni punyer jer. i started to feel 'perit tekak' masa kat umah kak ati lg. by the time balik umah after returning our rented car terus flat...kepala rasa berat...pingsan tas katil. woke up around 7 plus plus dah rasa temperature naik. adeih...panadol plak takdak. kedai dah tutup. nak gi beli kat mana pun tak tau. I miss dearest MAFSO and MR. V. what to do? so there i was lying helplessly on my bed thinking whether we can make it or not for my long awaited fruit-salad-yogurt-icecream 2morrow...hahhaha....dlm demam2 tuh sempat lg pikir nak makan eskrem

my morning glory.....

i am so 'sleepless' eversince darling evil started his work at 7.30...he have to take the 6.45 bus. usually lepas subuh dah tidor balik but now pukul 6 pagi i dah kena bangun semula to prepare for his breakfast and also packed lunch. kalau dia nak lunch sandwich semua kena buat that early morning. kalau dia nak makan nasik, lauk buat the nite before so pagi tu just tinggal perangat and masak nasik and goreng ikan bilis masin (yummmyy). takper darling evil...u keje gegeh2 okeh (hint hint) ihihihihih.

daging sweet sour pedas - sekali ngan sayur semua humban dlm tuh. senang kan.

esok plak ada m'sia postgrad association nyer open hse. derang buat kat northryde which i dunno where sbb esok baru nak konvoi jelajah pi sana. they need some volunteers to prepare foods and such. memandangkan saya yg seumur hidup tak penah buat kuah kacang or even masak rendang so saya volunteer bawak desert/kuih muih. at first thought nak bawak bread pudding and pudding jagung i yg glamer tuh (perahsan). but then sini tak jumpa lak agar2 yg biasa tuh. so tak mo la take the risk guna agar2 serbuk. so on 2nd thought nak buat with sardin puffs (hahha...takdak modal lain). leceh sebenornyer kalau buat sardin puffs banyak ni tp i loikeee!! tp pehtu dlm groupmail kata if possible makanan harus lah berunsurkan hari raya...ahahhaha...big no-no la sardin puffs. so its decided.....besides bread pudding....darling evil dearie, malam ni kiter mengGODAM okehhh.

we will be renting a car for 2morrow's day out so kononnyer on sunday nak berwollonggong la kan...but after talking to ma-hessh and fayka about their trip....there is nothing that i'm looking forward to. so cancel lah. just rent the car for one day. pehtu on sunday just lepak kat opera hse and darling harbour (dah lama tak pekena fruit salad and yogurt icecream). plus i nak beli cili api and serai kat paddy's mkt. tak tergamak nak beli cili api kat supermarket...ada la dlm 15 btg kot dlm AUD2.50. mana cukup nak buat stock sambal kicap or sambal belacan.

and this is not coming out just from me ok....everybody in the class pun admit betapa azab nyer mamat sorang ni ngajar
and paling bangang is for the presentation purposes...dia dah cakap awal2 dia bagi on average between 12 to 14 out of 20. aku takdak la hadap sangat nak markah tinggi....but pls la have some respect to those yg present ekselen...ni beza 2 markah jer ngan org yg present mcm shelake. and this is so true ok becoz those ppl yg dah present dpt markah mmg around that range pun. keji keji

p/s: we got visitor today.....so tak dpt pi e'lakes. takpor...next saturday gua nak mentekedarah!!

both of us dok follow the season 3 of 'so you think you can dance'. so my faveret is pasha and danny (and also lacey for the girls). hari ni tangan ada sikit gatai nak tgk spoiler...ahahaha. i thought either pasha or danny would win the competition..especially danny cause he is so tall dark and handsome plus he always get positive remarks from the judges. but too bad....he didn't make it. but i think he is in the final three. and pasha is goin to be eliminated next week. haiyarkkk...there goes one handsome boy....and the winner? eeiiii buhsannn

Raya with friends

I have a friend named tigana...we met in Cheras and from there our friendship blossomed till now..He's a pretty weird guy..sometime oblivious of current surrounding..fumble alot...sweat damn alot...damn smart though blurriness do exceed his IQ level...
After graduation..we went on our separate ways...me stuck in KL and he been all over the country managing our national car branches. We do meet up...and usually it's in Malee..the best tomyam in dengkil....think that's wat we have in common..the addiction to malee tomyamm..even now..our rendezvous would be that place..Our get together will never be planned..he would suddenly show up near our place and ask us to hang out...Most of the planned get together though he confirmed to be there will end up him dissapear and uncontactable by phone...either busy tone..or he just hang up...he just like that....till now i can't figure him out..what goin thru his brain........
Anyway...he has this one particular skill that girls loved some much...he can sketch a picture sorta comic anime lookalike with very cute characters and meaningful message...usually for birthdays or special occasion..even during our lecture..he'll be sketching wat he saw in the class...the pretty babes..the snoring guys..the boring lecturer...it's been working for him and girls will go goo goo gaa gaa for it...but yet he never had a gf...
So..he never failed to be there being a good friend though he won't be around..but somehow we'll be talking about him...and every now and again...i wonder wat going on in his head....
Last week before raya..i received an email from him...he never sends email or even reply my YM msg....with an attachment.....so i just felt to share it with more of my friends...how lucky am i to have such a good friend like him....c'mon..can't a guy had a man crush...hehehehe

we finalise everything at around 3.30...and met tracy at 4 for some review. ader hiccup lg sket here and there...but still can manage before submission this monday. cuma we were worried abt the K guy because dia nyer part bukan takat hiccup...tapi dah kronik tahap batuk kering
after the review...we get back together again for some understanding of the hiccups and the batuk kering. kol 5 lebih settle and balik...


balik rasa mcm dah malas nak buat pape...i was thinking of doin my hiccup part tonite but then i'm too tired to think...saya mahu hiburan...this last two weeks mmg tiring giler...dgn tak tido nyer.. and most of the time 4.30 baru tido. in fact...specially for tonite...i'm planning to sleep early. esok pun mcm plan tak nak buat keje...i have 10 am appointment at the gym....then 1 pm ada org dtg nak servis smoke alarm. settle semua gi bondi jun*ction to meet darling evil and do some raya shopping....ingat kat sini tak leh buat raya shopping ker? hhahaha....need to get a pair of nice shoes for my baju kurung....takkan nak pakai boots kot skang ni....hanya yani jer leh pakai boots and baju kurung. plus cuaca skang tak menentu...sekejap panas...sekejap berangin.

oh by the way, just now masa nak kuar lift dari tingkat 5...i bump into bernie...he is a singaporean guy age around 40 plus doing a phd. other than that, dia ni kekadang mengajar utk tutorial. my first nego class is with him....so itu lah detik pertemuan kami. so anyway, ppl yg buat phd ada their own cubicle at the school's office. coincidently, bernie's cubicle is just next to magesh...my singaporean partner for one of my assignment. she's also doin a phd but have to take one similar subject with me. so i always lepak at magesh cubicle for some discussion. and today...masa jumpa kat depan lift;

bernie - why is it that i always see you at this floor (dgn muka terbeliak dia mcm biasa)
me - erk...because i got so many things to do and i need to see the lecturers for consultation (dgn nada tergamam

if given a chance to do a phD later in the future...i will surely reject it. tak kose nyahh nak belajo2 segala bagai ni (tp kalau buat locally i might consider it kot...nak gak rasa ada DR. kat depan kan...ahahhaha) but again...my work is just my paid hobby and i am soooo lurving it becoz me mata duitan...kan rina kan...i am back to that principle.

our house is ready....tinggal nak dapat CF jer lagi 1-2 weeks (so they say la kan). few weeks ago...we made one big purchase....a parking lot...yesss another extra parking lot...tadendum style...or is it addendum...whateva la yg penting ada dum dum kat belakang tandem style...tp yg jenis back-to-back...kalau keter belakang nak kuor...keter depan kena kuar dulu. leceh kan..tp takper...jenis yg gitu pun dah tuuttt...kalau yg side by side lagi la tuutt tuuuttt. we didnt pay that tuutt amout though....contra ngan our LAD sbb lambat siap by a few mths....cuma kena top up sket.

this quick decision came after reading the d'rimba thread kat forum realestate...so they say rather than tunggu LAD yg tak tau zaman tok kadok bila nak dpt baik contra ngan 2nd parking. even the developer pun dok call2 buyers tanyer nak contra ker dak. terus we all call developer sbb takut terlepas. but the thing is tak tau kat mana parking lot tuh...hopefully somewhere near the block. even sapa yg tak beli extra lot...they wont be getting the 1st lot betol betol2 depan umah sbb developer bagi priority kat those yg beli tuutt tuuutt nyer lot utk choose the parking. harus la kan

i think last wk my BIL dah pi amik kunci and inspect the house. he said not much defect just yg kecik2 jer. ours is lucky becoz it was done by a diff contractor. those yg block a,b,c and d terok giler. i think the unit that we ceroboh last time must be one of those yg terok...dinding senget...can u imagine dinding senget and it was so obvious. pintu apa semua tak align.

the best so far....

rupe2nyer hr ni kelas sampai kol 3.30 jerk. so after consultation ngan tracy around 5 terus bekejaran balik. masa dah masuk kingsford town tetiba terasa nak pi white lotus si frida tuh. apa lagi terus picit bell and turun. the oriental shop tak sebesar mcm yg kat randwick but ok la...i can get most of my things kat sini. beli telor asin, sagu and gula melaka nak buat sagu gula melaka...kacang hijo leh buat bubur kacang...beli tuna nak buat muffin tuna and cheese (alermak muffin tray takdak!!) and finally found my vanilla essence..indonesia nyer product. ok lah tuh. sampai umah dah kol 6 lebih sikit. evil deary dok tgh makan bread pudding. cepat2 rebus telor masin....panas kan sup daging and buat sambal kicap. fuh!!! hari nyer bukak pose is the best so far i ever cook here in sydney. i really really have lost my cooking touch. really need to get it back..

my new toy....

last saturday went here to get me a new toy....a microwave. dulu kat m'sia w'pun schedule lg tight tak pernah terpikir pun nak beli microwave.
anyway, sebab nak beli sbb terjumpa very simple resipi nak buat kueh lopis guna microwave (semata2 ok) and another reason is darling evil dah start his 9 - 5 work today...so for 3 days nobody can cook dinner at home. with my class finishing on average 7.30 kang sampai umah dah tak larat dah. so ader microwave senang sikit kan. like for today berbuka...i have already cook dinner last nite...masuk dlm pyrex buh dlm petiais....balik mlm kang tinggal panaskan jer. for tues and wed class only start at 4 so before pi class kena main masak2 dulu and mcm biasa buh dlm peti ais. becoz of this also i bought another new box of pyrex set...kali ni yg range medium to small plak....

so far bukak pose ok gak la...w'pun setelah dikenang kembali mcm sadis jer:
1st day: ayam bakar, sambal tempe jawa and sardin puffs. sahur - nasi goreng
2nd day: daging kicap, tomyam cendawan and cinnamon rolls. sahur - nasi goreng
3rd day: take away kebab dish. sahur - tak ingat la plak
4th day: home made pizza and sweet buns (campur kismis). sahur - roti bakar cicah sup daging

sadis kan...but we will survive. one thing dok sini kalau nak makan apa2...berusaha sampai jaya nak buat. lepas ni nak belajar buat popia basah plak. nak buat muffin2 pun ok gak but my prob here is nak carik essen vanilla yg halal. the only brand yg ada kat supermarket ader campur alcohol.

1 biji telo
sedikit garam

Cara2 membuatnya

Campurkan yis, gula, susu dan telur dengan sedikit air. Larutkan. <--cheeky said: i kacau guna whisk...tak perasan larut ker idak.

Masukkan tepung ke dalam bancuhan tadi. tambah air lg agak2 cam adunan jemput2 <--- cheeky said: i dunno how to define the mixture but maybe something like kuah rojak kot...likat2

Perap adunan dlm 1-2 jam utk dptkan hasil sarang yg cantik <---cheeky said: i dont understand apa dia maksud ngan sarang but i think bila u nak spoon the mixture...nanti dia mcm tertarik2 jadi bentuk mcm sarang labah2

Sebelum menggoreng masukkan sedikit garam ...<---cheeky said: dah dua kali buat...dua2 lupa buh garam. so tak buh pun tak pa kot
