last saturday, jalan2 carik bread slicer kat oriordan st. took the bus and jalan sepanjang jalan...there is no direct bus to the place...mind you tpt ni mcm kat bangi yg banyak pusat latihan bank tu...except sini banyak small warehouse. coincidently, KAS ada buat clearance sale. KAS is a brand name in soft furnishing. so banyak la cushion cover, table runner, table cloth on sale. owh...quilt set pun ada

dan jgn lupa bean bags and foot stool. one lady bought 3-4 giant bean bags mcm kat blakang tuh. fuh....how i wish i can buy one tp satu hal nak bawak balik m'sia nanti

the toy is mine....

finally i won the bid on ebay and the toy is officially mine. i wish i can describe the feeling during the last 10 minutes of bidding...phewww. i was telling darling evil since few weeks ago that i wont be baking any new loaf of bread till the day i got hold of this item. almost all the shopping centre in the eastern suburbs have no stock of this precious toy (read: exaggerate). anyway, i hope i tak kena tipu kat ebay.

nice isn't it? bought the middle one during our trip to phillip island for only $50...god knows how i took great care of it through out our road trip. whereas the other two we bought it last weekend, the day we plan to walk along the harbour bridge. we plan to take a train to milson point and back to circular quay by walking along the harbour bridge. elok2 dah beli ticket train baru tau that service is not available up to MP sbb ada railwork. service is only up to wynyard so nak tak nak we just follow suit plus they provide free bus service to our final destination. so turun kat MP ada art and craft market plak....and thats where we bought our metal thingy. so imagine both of us balik jalan kaki lalu harbour bridge with those two things. not much picture were taken at the bridge. anyway, those two things (whatever the name is), i manage to mark down the price from $55 to $40 for BOTH!! am i good or what....ihihihih. initially the price is, $30 for each and $55 for both. i am so so satisfied with my purchase that day. thanks to darling evil for noticing it at first. can imagine how's my Drimba gonna be like?? (mode: dreaming).....tiba2 teringat kat widuri pulak....

money matters...

any of you guys read abt the recent KLCI drop to like 9.5%. dont ask me abt KLCI and all those financial terms coz i have no idea abt it. but i'm quite worried whether will it somehow affect our investment in unit trust. i have just recently increased my monthly SI kpd jumlah yg agak melampau. dah la i dont have any bonds acc for switching funds....doink!!!!

i found this one forum thread that talks abt this current situation...abt shares, UT, switching funds and such..how can i ever understand what they are talking abt...whats more in believing what some of this ppl are saying. i know we shud get advice frm our agent but there is no harm in getting some extra info frm other sources. tp bukan ker kalau harga rendah when we buy we can get more units....so bila nanti harga tinggi if we sell we can get lots of $$$....ker terbalik?

shish kebab...

yesterday i made this shish kebab for hubby deary...doesnt look that nice isnt it? maybe becoz i put too many things in a stick but taste wise...not bad....i marinate the chicken with sesame oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce and honey whereas the vege with olive oil and mixed herbs. the minestrone soup is actually for my breakfast tp terlambat masak so i had it for lunch with one stick of kebab. it is easy to make one here coz they sell the beans mixture for the soup almost everywhere. cuma smalam terlebih letak pasta so it doesnt have that minestrone soup look-alike.

big day...special day....

its a special day today, its darling evil big day (clap clap clap). sorry i didnt get you any card etc etc. but remember last year, i replied on your wish list entry that coming here is equal to 10 yrs of big day presents. lurve you!!! i dint get him anything special today except for one book and a lunch treat at serai. oh, and i let him buy his latest toy today without giving any of the 'that look' face. its a new telephoto lense for his dslr.

anyway, we start off our day quite early. the original plan patut lg awal but biasa la kan. took the 9.25am bus to city to catch another bus to the northside sydney. there's a weekend mkt at the park near the council chambers. surprisingly its not that far, just a short distance after the harbour bridge. first time jugak lalu harbour bridge using the public transport(jakun!!). the market was so and so but the atmosphere is great. near the park and great live music. plus easy access with public transport. manage to get a few cheap books. enjoy the pixs...

leather shoes from china. cantik sgt. the 1st one i tried i forgot to check the lining and everything...baru perasan ada 3 titik...ewwww. ada a few yg synthetic lining but its either no size or design kurang umphh..

ada kitchenware...murah2 pulak tu.

goin back to the city, there's an International Women's Day Festival at hyde park. i am excited looking at the stalls from far but then, exhibition stalls jerk (cheh!!)

from the city, we're not that sure how to get to surry hills by bus, so we walk...by the time we arrived its already 2 plus plus and one couple is already leaving. quite cosy and with the lighting and everything, its like a romantic lunch coz there's only us in the rest...hahhaha

the parade.....

it was unplanned....first i thought of goin, but then looking at the previous years parade....i change my mind....its not like the new year celebration where u sit and watch but this is like u bertenggek tepi pagar and watch...i'm not gonna do that. so we decided to just check out the preparation. off we go that afternoon. you can actually see their preparation how they decorate their busses...trucks...pick-ups etc etc....its not like hias beria...simple jerk. anyway, the crowd seems okay....in fact, we can actually get the best spot that is along the major road where the parade took place. but i dont wanna risk my pretty face being circulated allover the www with remarks such as "seorg gadis jelita bertudung telah kelihatan menonton perarakan tuuutttt"...no way....but as if la kan it will happen but prevention is better than cure. we got a very nice spot at the hyde park so sambil tunggu parade mula sambil picnic makan vegetarian sushi. so my say abt the parade....it was d*mn funny....parents even brought their 6-7yrs old kid to watch this.....i'm not gonna put all those pictures that we took...gile ke? imej kena jaga babe!! besides, it was a night event and someone is still in his learning stage with his dslr....anyway, enjoy these two pixs yg lepas board of censorship

the new toy....

the wife and the hubby got so hungry at 8 plus plus despite having late lunch at near to 5. and this morning while searching high and low for my bread slicer (which turns out frustrating), i found a new toy for dearest kitchen. coincidently, since both us need something lite and solid to eat, i manage to experiment with my new toy immediately tonite....

yesterday, we had this as our late lunch (4pm plus2...late lunch rite). the fish portion is just nice but evil dearie request more vege

so today i went for my groceries shopping bought some salads, sweet potatoes, eggplant and red capsicum (1st time). whats the diff anyway between the green, red and yellow? i knew green is the cheapest of all. anyway, the salads is a big mistake. i always bought pre-washed salad, easier to consume so today tried a diff type...and bluerk...tasteless. rocket is always the best!!

pan fry fish wif fresh salads, oven-baked eggplant, sweet potatoes and caps.

sedap jugak red caps tuh bila bakar....before this tak penah bakar green caps. owh how do i bakarthem all, campur ngan olive oil+mix herbs+salt+pepper+garlic powder. the sweet potatoes remind me so much of yoo rin...ihihih. and by the way, garlic bakar (jgn buang kulit) adalah sangat sedap. i learn all this bakar membakar sayur from pak ku (my dad's friend) during lunch at his place few weeks ago. salujugak nampak western style cooking bakar2 sayur ni...but never tried before, sekali dah rasa...hmm must do over and over again. bila la evil dear nak balik keje ni.

all the long distance travelling ends yesterday. updates on the roadtrip agak malas lg mau buat....just wait for another week or two. i have abt 1500 pixs that i need to sort out. i will upload most of it in my facebook and put a few nice shots here on daily basis. stories update will come from evil dearie as he is planning to create our new travel and adventure blog.

there is actually two caravan park in the island...
one is just 5 minutes away from the tourist attractions
while the other one which i booked is like 20 minutes away
