Finally today, after much deliberation..we decided to get a dining table and a bookcase. We've grown tired dining with the wobbly picnic table..and those boxes of book are an eye sore. So our home is almost complete. We're still undecided abt the frames though..

8 + 1 yg belum diisi adalah corelle semata2. all my corelle (plus another 2 person) are loose pieces so go figure berapa byk pieces ada dlm 9 kotak ni. i layer each pieces with small cardboard + butcher paper + bubble wrap then bawah atas kiri kanan letak ngan baju, winter jacket etc etc. selamatkan lah harta benda ni semua....its not abt the money value but more on the effort, the excitement masa beli plus ni barang orang woo!!

bende putih ni tak tau lah apa nama dia....i got two big boxes full of it from kedai cik noriah binti take plus mr. evil bawak balik berkotak2 lagi. bagus utk mengisi ruang2 kosong. tgk kat kennards takdak plak jual. kat store peters smalam lalu berplastic2 penuh bende ni....i wish i can have at least one or two bags more. biar lebih jgn kurang....

skang ni we got another prob....kotak MACAM tak cukup. at least another 2 or 3 jumbo size ok kot. leceh nyer nak gi beli. we arrived sydney in 2007 with only two big bags and and one hand carry bag....

the friday before coming back 'home', i had lunch with the rest of my GGs from Putrajaya at KLCC. mentang2 skang ada hiway KL-Putrajaya, lunch hr jumaat pantas jer ke sana. before meeting them, i was also in Putrajaya for some P&C matter...ahahah. kitorang tak tau tau nak guna the new hiway, in fact tak terpikir pun. so just lalu sg besi and masuk smart tunnel.for just RM2, i think it is so worth it. seriously, way much more better drpd bayar $1.60 dua kali nak pi USJ tp jammed tahap siput jugak!!

walaupun tak sempat berGG for almost 6 hrs but still enuff to make me think twice abt coming back to work. i have to be mentally prepared. dah la before that masa P&C session tu Mr H dok kata it is goin to be tough for me...not working for 1 1/2yrs then bila balik join sekufu dgn all my GGs (Alhamdullillahhh)....huwarghhhh....malas nak pikir....i redha dgn masa depan i!!!

anyway, i am so frusfrated with KLCC new fudcot. mcm tak byk choice jerk.i was looking fwd to nasi kerabu kelantan tapi takdak....so i didnt buy anything....justt powww derang nyer lasagna.

one thing for sure i'm gonna buy that 20 inch tv from sony. saw the tv masa jalan2 kat the curve and immediately fall in love with it. thats the biggest they have for that model.

The 100K renovation...

back in m'sia when we were checking out our new d'rimba, there are few units yg tgh buat heavy renovation. we managed to have a look at one of the almost complete unit. the lady kindly enough let me took some photos of their work in progress. total cost of the renovation is 100k. for me,10ok is not that worth it la unless ur money mmg berkepok2 that u dunno what to do with it or maybe ur planning to stay there like forever.


this is the dining plus kitchen. supposedly ada wall partition between the kitchen and dining. tp owner buang and instead the put a sliding door. the feature wall at the dining hall is from wallpaper.

so this is the view from inside the kitchen with the sliding door. mmg cool sgt tp bila u slides open the door, ur taking the space behind the wall yg depan sinki. mean to say kat wall tu mmg tak leh buat built in cabinet and tak leh letak barang. erk...paham ker?? tp mmg smart la concept sliding door ni

the kitchen cabinet, ok gak la. i like the colour tp sbb dah ramai sgt org guna colour cenggini so i'm already thinking of something else. the owner panjangkan lagi dapur dia...so the wet kitchen outside is just enough for him to put his washing machine.


tpt sidai baju dekat wet kitchen....cool giler....kalau tgk picture sebelum ni kat wet kitchen tak nampak bende ni. u can pusing2 this thing bagi dia turun and pusing balik naik atas....wah!! i must buy this thing. but was already thinking of buying a dryer....so to buy or not to buy a dryer?

the master bedroom...just as what as i was thinking except for the colour of the cabinet. i am so planning to change the parkir flooring into laminated flooring so that it can gave a spacious impression of the room.

nyaris i nak jatuh kat sini sbb salah step...chait

the bathroom door. cantik gilerr....sekeping RM650. the original door mmg buruk nak mampus....i am soooo gonna change into this as well.

totally makeover bathroom. tiles semua dia bukak and put a new one. dia guna darker tiles tp bathroom dia nampak even bigger. the lady said the original tiles tu jenis tebal...yg ni jenis nipis...

wahhhhhhhhh...very nice. cuma satu jer la...maintenance susah sket belah atas tuh

100k for all these...i didnt take pictures of the living room sbb tak minat sgt. the built in tv cabinet dia tak lawa sgt...lawa lagi my red apple tv cabinet. anyway, even kat living room, dining and along the corridor nak ke bedroom semua dia tukar tiles baru. something bigger and more glowy. even the other two rooms pun dia buat built in bedframe and cabinet...sbb tu mahal kot.

tgk workmanship derang mmg bagus. worker dia dua org, one chinese and one singh guy. no indonesian. me and mr evil dah discuss...kalau pikir malas mmg nak amik jer derang ni nanti. but of course we're not gonna do this kind of heavy make-over. mana nak cari duit. yg penting dapur, tukar pintu bathroom and cabinets for the main room. derang ni dah berkampung kat d'rimba since end of last year....from one unit to another unit doin renovation.

the return.....

we arrived yesterday morning around 7 plus plus. the immigration didnt even check my luggage. cuma scan thru jerk. tak sesia i beli kiub maggie and knorr berlambak2. should have bought even moreeee!!!! owh and suddenly there is this one big black dog buat tour kat tpt q...eiiiiiiii. thank god i tak kena sniff. mr evil dah warning awal2 jgn nak over react bile anjing datang dekat. terus i pandang tepi just to make sure that i tak notice 'his' arrival.

hmmm....tak byk la plak bila tgk gambar....tp cukup kot utk stock sampai december. bukan nak guna hari2 pun. yg penting just kiub bunjut and tomyam. yg lain tuh saja suka2 beli.

anyway, i was 2 hrs late for my first class...mmg sengaja pun. got my business caps team...hmmm....all girls which is cool...but i got none from local or even 'the sallehs'. dunno what to expect but i hope we wont be having any big issues....this is one big final project (why ever did i rejected the transfer credit for this course...care to answer mr evil???). i got two class yesterday so only came back at quarter past 8. i was expecting my fried hokkien mee from thai singha. masuk umah bau dah sedap.......nope...its not my fried hokkien me....mr evil have to cook dinner yesterday. sian dia....anyway he cooked very delicious stir fry glass noodle....with lots of veges. thats our first decent meal in sydney yesterday. thai singha tak angkat2 tepon so maybe they didnt open yesterday and taste of thai closed for two days until today. mintak2 hari ni thai singha bukak coz seriously i'm not planning to cook coz today is the spring cleaning day!!!

d'rimba...after one year

we're excited when we get the keys to our house yesterday morning. i even cancel my plan to go to JPA to clarify some stuffs. we first stop at maybank cyberjaya to collect my credit card. visa international detected some fraud transactions over my visa. so they block my card since last may which i only came to know last week. so i ask for replacement. instead of replacing it with the same flex card they swap it with wave. WT*!!! the lady at the counter said "sbb flex ni colour2 so skang dah mcm susah nak keluar"...i dont get it...again WT*!!! i ask her if let say my card takdak this kind of problem and when my membership expired, are they goin to issue with the same flex card. and she said yes!! soooo....apa beza nyer skang ni when u have to replace my card with same flex function. (WT*) u replace my card with wave. i told her by hook or by crook i want the flex function back. u cant simply change my card function. flex for me is the best because they dont have the annual fees but instead monthly fees of RM3.95. and they will waived the monthly fees if your spending is more than RM200....which is no problem for me...ahahahha. kalau tak lebih 200 pun fees 4 hengget tuh tak la byk mana even when total up 12 months pun kan.

then the lady ask me.....nak card colour apa (boleh pulak tanyer nak card colour apa...kata susah nak keluar)....i said dulu colour hijau but skang i tak kisah colour apa as long as it is flex. then i chow. mr evil said i tak diplomacy when dealing with ppl at customer service....erk...like who cares!!!

anyway, i dah terlari tajuk sebenar nyer. enjoy the pics of our very own drimba. this is our real unit....






after dah tgk rumah semua, we then went to the mgt office to settle some stuffs. sebelum masuk, i ask mr evil "boleh tak i deal with them without any diplomacy?".....mr evil kata, yg ni boleh....cheh...boleh cenggitu!!!

ni pokok rosemary bukan saya yg beli tp mr evil yg beli (tp i yg pilih pasu kolor pink). beli kat camden craft market masa time my parents datang. satu pasu ni $10 jerk. ada mcm2 herbs lagi jual. ok lah...so far masih bernyawa lagik pokok ni. cuma dah tak setinggi mcm dlm gambar. salu guna utk marinate lamb.

my dear, nanti b4 flight back to m'sia jgn lupa bawak masuk yerk pokok ni.

when i'm feeling blue....

all i have to do is to 'go for my retail theraphy'. with reference to my entry in march (mcm ayat gomen plak).....here are the stuffs that i bought. dunno what happen i was feeling so blue that day...to be exact...turqoise actually.....

got myself 4 sets of cushion cover at the price of $7 each!!!. wanted to buy the inner cushion as well...but we travel by bus plus have to walk like 1km to the nearest busstop...next trip maybe.

sekali pandang mcm alas kaki...berkali2 pandang pun mcm alas kaki....but i like it so much...and its heavy...

i didnt know that turqoise and brown can 'clique' together so well...

my fav of all....table runner. tp sayang la nak guna as table runner. maybe we just frame it up ke...tapi panjang sgt la plak...we'll figure it out later - $10

another fav of mine...quilt cover set for only $15...cant resist la kan.....

my petiais....

ni tag zaman bila yer yani suh buat. actually dah lama amik gambar tp camera tersetting raw data so malas nak convert ke the normal file format.
anyway, this is my petiais buruk...beli 2nd hand jerk. penuh ngan magnet beli masa road trip hari plus calendar magnet dr serata wakil rakyat kat sini. bagus wakil rakyat ni bagi calendar magnet tuh kan. tak lupa juga calendar weekend market kat camden and castlehill.

ni belah freezer....penuh ngan frost..ahahhaha. penuh jer kan freezer i...nampak sgt masa ni baru lepas pi halal butcher. bekas putih tu vanila icecream nak buat a&w float. atas dia my frozen burger bun. pehtu ada la daging, ayam and lamb rib. yg bekas bulat tuh serai blend. belah bawah tuh mixed vege and 2 bekas chicken chips yg sangat sedap. kat blakang tak nampak ada la pratha, frozen pastry and frozen stir fry vege.

kena citer satu2 ker yani??? malas la...i hilite yg penting jer. yg dlm jar kecik tulis doritos tuh my favorite tomato salsa...makan ngan corn chips...sedap!!! sebelah dia tuh perencah indian food apa ntah...sila besar kan gambar and baca sendrik. belah bawah tuhnampak mcm chocolate bar tp bukan yer itu cooking chocolate just in case tetiba nak buat kek ceklat ka choco pot kaa. rasa nyer ada tupperware isi sardin gak tuh plus leftover sambal cuka makan ngan nasi air.

ni rak atas ada tupperware asam keping, sambal kicap, homemade kuah rojak, gula melaka, galangal, and bungkus2 spices. dalam foil tuh roti burger yg dah siap dibakar. i always kept half as frozen and the remaining half siap bakar semua. nak guna perangat je. rak bawah ada whip cream utk mr evil nyer hot chocolate, pehtu satu bekas plum. plum yg kecik tuh nama sweet plum...lazat betoll. smalam ada org tuh dah sekali hadap satu bekas i nyer sweet plum!!!! kena tambah stock semula!! next is my jagungg...me and jagung tak dapat dipisah kan...mesti ada stock dlm peti ais. ats dia pre-wash salad...ni pun must have dlm peti ais i. seblah dlm brown paper bag tuh mushroom...belakang dia apa ntah. belah bawah rak tuh mcm biasa tpt vege...tp malas i nak amik gambor


ni belah tepi fridge...tak byk space kan...ada air kosong...a&w rootbeer for our float and susu for mr evil's hot chocolate. belakang nipis tuh seaweed yg utk buat sushi tuh...apa ke nama dia??? belah atas malas la nak describe tgk sendrik. atas sekali tuh itak tau apa fungsi...sungguh nyakitkan hati. org sini makan telor banyak...so depa tak buh telor dlm petiais arakian mmg takdak tpt telor dlm petiais...sekian

too lazy too write...so its gonna be a short update with lots of pixs.....



last saturday, jalan2 carik bread slicer kat oriordan st. took the bus and jalan sepanjang jalan...there is no direct bus to the place...mind you tpt ni mcm kat bangi yg banyak pusat latihan bank tu...except sini banyak small warehouse. coincidently, KAS ada buat clearance sale. KAS is a brand name in soft furnishing. so banyak la cushion cover, table runner, table cloth on sale. owh...quilt set pun ada

dan jgn lupa bean bags and foot stool. one lady bought 3-4 giant bean bags mcm kat blakang tuh. fuh....how i wish i can buy one tp satu hal nak bawak balik m'sia nanti

nice isn't it? bought the middle one during our trip to phillip island for only $50...god knows how i took great care of it through out our road trip. whereas the other two we bought it last weekend, the day we plan to walk along the harbour bridge. we plan to take a train to milson point and back to circular quay by walking along the harbour bridge. elok2 dah beli ticket train baru tau that service is not available up to MP sbb ada railwork. service is only up to wynyard so nak tak nak we just follow suit plus they provide free bus service to our final destination. so turun kat MP ada art and craft market plak....and thats where we bought our metal thingy. so imagine both of us balik jalan kaki lalu harbour bridge with those two things. not much picture were taken at the bridge. anyway, those two things (whatever the name is), i manage to mark down the price from $55 to $40 for BOTH!! am i good or what....ihihihih. initially the price is, $30 for each and $55 for both. i am so so satisfied with my purchase that day. thanks to darling evil for noticing it at first. can imagine how's my Drimba gonna be like?? (mode: dreaming).....tiba2 teringat kat widuri pulak....

the new toy....

the wife and the hubby got so hungry at 8 plus plus despite having late lunch at near to 5. and this morning while searching high and low for my bread slicer (which turns out frustrating), i found a new toy for dearest kitchen. coincidently, since both us need something lite and solid to eat, i manage to experiment with my new toy immediately tonite....

yesterday, we had this as our late lunch (4pm plus2...late lunch rite). the fish portion is just nice but evil dearie request more vege

so today i went for my groceries shopping bought some salads, sweet potatoes, eggplant and red capsicum (1st time). whats the diff anyway between the green, red and yellow? i knew green is the cheapest of all. anyway, the salads is a big mistake. i always bought pre-washed salad, easier to consume so today tried a diff type...and bluerk...tasteless. rocket is always the best!!

pan fry fish wif fresh salads, oven-baked eggplant, sweet potatoes and caps.

sedap jugak red caps tuh bila bakar....before this tak penah bakar green caps. owh how do i bakarthem all, campur ngan olive oil+mix herbs+salt+pepper+garlic powder. the sweet potatoes remind me so much of yoo rin...ihihih. and by the way, garlic bakar (jgn buang kulit) adalah sangat sedap. i learn all this bakar membakar sayur from pak ku (my dad's friend) during lunch at his place few weeks ago. salujugak nampak western style cooking bakar2 sayur ni...but never tried before, sekali dah rasa...hmm must do over and over again. bila la evil dear nak balik keje ni.

cant remember when we had this for lunch. it is nasi air. not as good as the one in ku*la or is it h*lu k*maman. but still it is almost similar and super duper easy.

last nite...i got so bored while waiting for AJL to start....so i bake chocolate cake. merekah sket kat atas. sedap gak...moist...maybe because the recipe use cooking chocolate instead of cocoa powder...

and i decorate it...sajer over2. i already transfer it to another plate...so idak la comot sgt kat bawah2 tuh mcm dlm gambar ni...hiihihih
